Longer domain name with keywords or shorter with few keywords

The traffic Im anticipating will be primarily from SEs, so Im leaning towards having my main keywords in the title. But should I shorten the domain to just a keyword or two for easier typing in even though Im not expecting much direct traffic?

Always remember the longer the domain name the harder it is for people to remember it, type it correctly and get to it.

I aim to get 90% of my traffic from search engines so for me at least - length of domian doesnt mater but 2 hypens is about as far as i would go ( hang on im sure i have a site with 3 hypens)
