I know you guys aren't very newbie friendly so I've been playing around on my own. I've registered a .com domain and registered to an affiliate program.
I made 0.063cents in my first 3 days and I'm very excited! (Baby steps :p)

The problem is, the person who bought the product only visited my website because I advertised it on a forum... not because of finding it on google.

Where do I go to get help on SEO? right now my website doesn't rank on google at ALL(I just registered it on namecheap.com 3 days ago).

Nickycakes guide only helped for starting the website up.

SEO is very important factor to get traffic. I put a lot efforts to study SEO but it's worth it. If you can put right SEO method you will get free life time traffic. In the beginning it'll takes a lot efforts and hard work, but in the end you can see a good results.

honestly, I wouldn't recommend using google for searching for seo tutorials...you're gonna find a lot of rehashed guru-y bullshit from guys who haven't really done work for themself and are probably just frontin...stay in here and read, or go to the main portal sites like seobook, seomoz, any of the blogs any of us write, etc..

I don't remember reading anything useful about seo on here, Google has billions of pages indexed it's just about finding the information relative to your needs ;)

If it can't be found by Google it's not worth knowing.
