Ok guys let me be the first to admit the fact that I suck ass when it comes to making revenue. I've been working on my Winter Case Study blog for awhile, and I've gotten it to the point to where it gets 200 uniques per day on average.

I'm having a horrible time trying to make some money out of it. I'm with Azoogle and the I've tried 2 campaigns. I did the Blockbuster program, made 1 sale, but after that nothing. I have another one (Win a Shelby GT500) and it hasn't converted at all.

I'm looking for some help on how to make some cash. I'm willing to give a $300 LookSmart Coupon that Jon gave me to anyone who provides the most help/best help. I didn't want to have to do something like this, but I've tried everything my noob ass can come up with, and well I'm pretty frustrated.

Thanks, and I hope Jon is cool with this.

If you are want to use adsense on your blog try this...

First don't display the full post on the index page. Just try the picture with a few lines of text from the post. On the post pages try a block of adsense below the picture but before the text starts. You should see your CTR increase. Also you could try optimizing your images for google image search. I imagine people look for car pictures there.

^^ Agreed

Never give people the whole post on the home page, because then they don't have to dig any deeper into your blog. Get them used to clicking on stuff, even if it is just a heading. Also, when people go to the page, you can have that nice 250x250 Adsense block just waiting for them.

Next, don't give away your coupon. That's $300 in free advertising, you can use that to make $600 or more. Take that coupon and use it to test out some campaigns. Looksmart may not be the best traffic in the world, but it is real humans, and they do buy. Mother's day is Sunday, put up some ads for flowers, the Clever Clasp thingy, chocolates, stuffed teddy bears, whatever. Take advantage of free traffic and the season.

How come my post never shown up?
Good job I liked it, haha, I copied it to save it for personal use later, but fuck it if you didnt like it never mind,

( I didnt just post for the ad credits neither, I was tryin to help )

And thanks for the tips guys, I'll give it a shot.

Hi,
I like this forum, so I hope you dont mind if I stop lurkin and add my 2c worth here,

2 pieces of advice I would give lookin at your carbloggin site,

First, do whatever you can to multiply and duplicate whatever you've already done, Got some links, get MUCH more (google showin 7, yahoo showing 400+, you need google showing 400 and yahoo showin 4000!)
First thing you should do with ANY new domain is get down to info-dot-vilesilencer-dot-com and submit it to all the Non-recip directories, and any niche 1s,
Getting more traffic (in turn more money) is basically the total sum of all the monetonous tasks you do,
For example, you got Blog, on a domain, so straight off the cuff without even considering niche traffic, the first day for me would consist of this -
Submit to 300+ directories that require no linkback,
Submit to the 120+ Blog directories and 100+ RSS directories
Find as many sites niche related that will do link trades (easy to google "cars" then in results search inurl:"addlink" etc)

In 1 day, doing all that off the bat, you should see at least the 200 clicks per day your getting, then that brings me nicely to point two

See what other people are doing, and copy/improve,

Just from lookin at your site, I saw the links in your blogroll, and REALLY you should at least be takin a leaf out of this guys book -
supercarfan_dot_com

If you look, you can see, quite easily, that this guy has taken on board what I said in point 1, duplicate!

If I where to hazard a guess, I would say that guy probably doesnt spend too long on each site, look at the bottom of his page for the "sister" sites,

I bet now you've done it once, you could do it again and again,

So basically, sorry for the Extra Long Rant, (maybe I might not be welcome back lol!) but my MAIN tip would be
Rinse and Repeat!

fuck me that took way to many tries!!

Glad it isnt that hard to sign up for a cpa offer or none of us would make any dough!!
