Task: To get Pure-FTPd to use MySQL for authentication on a CentOS box.
Problem: Doesn't fucking work, gives 530 Authentication error.
I compiled Pure-FTPd with MySQL support, created the necessary MySQL config file and binded the fucker without any errors. All connections fail and no indication as to why they fail.
