I want to include link in an email, but I want to send visitors to my website, then have that forward them to the appropriate landing page.
Bear with me...there is a reason behind this. Aside from affiliate stuff, I also have advertisers I would like to link to within email newsletters, but without referrer data, visitors they receive from my newsletters won't be attributed to my sites.
I have tried .htaccess, but that doesn't pass referrer data. I'm pretty sure I can set up a page or script to forward traffic, but I think I would need a separate one for each advertiser/link. Am I correct? What is the best way to handle this?
