i want one but i am waiting for all the bugs to be fixed. I just remember watching the keynote steve did a few months back this phone seems amazing.
Ah fuck. I want to get one because I have AT&T/Cingular. Is it easy to use text messaging and emailing on it like it is on my Treo 680? Aside for all of the technology it boasts.. what's the phone's reception like on calls? Is it the same size as an ipod so it becomes this overly bulky piece of hardware stickin out of your pocket or does it come with some type of clip?
Yeah, great point.. like with the first few generations of the ipod, where they changed some features on the outside, and then took care of that stupid battery problem.
I just hope it's business friendly and not just some shiny new toy for kids.
Right now is the worst time to get one. Wait 6 months. When they come out with an upgrade, I read that they won't be offering discounted upgrades for people that already have iPhones like they usually do.

1st gen shit always has problems. I have AT&T and I'm waiting a year for the hype to kill off and the faults to get fixed.

If you actually watch the videos from apple's site about the keyboard, you'll notice it will work pretty well in business aspect. However all those l33t kids will have problems because keyboard's intelligence spelling correction prog probably doesn't understand what kids are trying to write when you is u and other ridiculous shit like that. I'm waiting for 3G version also. Also 8GB is way too small to replace my 80GB iPod..

The keyboard took about 30 minutes of getting used to for me but now I'm fine and can use both thumbs like the keyboard on a Treo. Reception is good and I live in a shitty area. It's definitely not bulky at all. It's sleek as fuck. And no clip, I'm sure you can buy one though.

Cmon jon... wearing a cell phone on a clip is like wearing a fanny pack or pocket protector. And, anyone who wears a fanny pack should kill themselves. I commend this gentlemen's for being prepared:
