There are millions of website in WWW and all the webmasters and bloggers are not so lucky to get tons of traffic to their sites. Even if you keep posting nice and unique content, if your website is not known to others you will never get traffic.

in related news I just went up the the spiffy thread tools at the top and clicked on digg this thread. i dugg it.
 
Guys let me make it very clear...if I or will submit any spammy affiliate link in digg in no time that will be burried so it will just be a watse of money and time. Now it is upto you...if you still want to promote that.

DigitalArts delivered the Diggs: over 100.

The article submitted was a month or so old and isn't what I would consider the usual Digg front page material. But then again, neither is the website. The site is more research related material directed towards a specific niche and not for a broad audience, although the article took a more generalist approach. That said, the comments on Digg and the Emails received (these I was somewhat surprised to receive) were extremely positive. The domain itself is well aged with a decent PR.

Traffic increased approximately 20% for the day.

Based on some of the earlier comments on this thread, "So why the fuck bother with a site that isn't monetized?"

The questions you should really ask are, "What are the long-term benefits and how long will it remain a non-monetized page?"
