Hi,

We have a client that is a small business owner. Currently, we drive paid search traffic to the site and track all leads it generates. We get paid a commission on leads that convert to sales (sales happen via face-to-face meeting, not online). Since we don't want to lose leads to phone calls, any visitors coming from our marketing efforts our cookied and see a different version of the site without the phone number. This obviously isn't an optimal solution as a.) we could get more leads if we were able to track phone calls and b.) the visitor will never be able to find the company's number (we have non-expiring cookie that dictates not to show phone number). Has anyone had any luck figuring out this problem? We've considered setting up a new number with voicemail. This would allow us to write down the contact info and enter into tracking system. Not really optimal. Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone have recommendations on lead tracking software? Currently, we cookie the user coming in from our ads. If and when they fill out a contact form, the data is saved to a csv file. We give our clients a weekly excel file with all leads and have them update lead status - dead lead, active lead, closed business/sale. It would be great to use customizalbe web-based tracking software that would allow clients to see leads and set status online? Any recommendations?
