Anybody ever hire a juris doctor or paralegal in lieu of an attorney? I'm looking into this because I need probate services, and some attorneys get 3% of the estate value as their fee. That would mean paying big bucks.

I would pay the money because you don't want to fuck with probate courta nd if they don't know their way around then you could lose much more then 3%
