First Collector: Many can't go there.
Second Collector: And some would rather die.
Ebenezer: If they would rather die they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population.

Under the old capitalist paradigm it would not have been right. Businesses took a risk whenever extending credit, they knew there would be a calculated percentage of defaults and they built that risk into their prices. They would write off some of the bad debt and try to collect other debts through lawsuits.

Under the new and more fair Socialist paradigm this is all going to be very different. If the lady was not able to pay the bill she would have qualified for a government program such as Medicaid. Since the government did not deem her qualified for participation in Medicaid it is logical to assume that she is not paying the bill for some reason other than lack of funds. This is an example of someone obviously able to pay trying to get the free medical care that is reserved for select individuals. She is obviously trying to get a free ride on the backs of the poor.

From this point of view there is no difference between her withholding the payment due to the medical company and her walking into the medical companies main office and robbing them at gunpoint for the $280.

It's just a matter of your point of view. Things are changing and we are going to be seeing a lot more of this.

The reason she didn't pay it was because they said she didn't have too, but still turned it over to a collections agency when she didn't pay.

she went to jail because she skipped court so they hold her till court..

I think its stupid but its what people want since they do nothing about it
