I like my nook (first generation, not the color), the smaller form factor of the second generation eink model seems to get consistent positive reviews. Never played with the Kindle.

I am still waiting personally. I want to see what Amazon is doing with their tablet in the fall. Will probably either end up with a Kindle/Amazon Tablet or Nook. I can read off a LCD fine and read a lot of comics/manga so I'm thinking the color option might be good, but then again I don't know if two tablets are overkill. Right now I am still waiting though.
you have choose boobs icon , where is boobs
I'm still using an RCA REB1100. After dropping the damn thing a million times it still works, I can still buy books for it and the software that came out after the original company folded ensures that I can put pretty much anything on it.
Best of all, since it has a backlight, I can read it in bed. I think Amazon bought the company that was selling the 1150 model to get them off the market.
My friend pulled out his Kindle for a compare and contrast (I have a new toy and it's better than yours,) dropped the fucker, and cracked the screen.
For a pure ebook reader - you can't beat this. If you want something with more functions - think iPad.
Yeah, ereaders are getting really cheap. You can get the sponsored kindle for like $120, that leaves like ~$400 for another tablet. I mean, I could either get an ereader and a tablet or a crappy laptop. Two tablets?
If I could neg rep you further I would.
Does it have PDF support?
