Forgive me for my noobness brothers, yes We are newbie when it comes to creating and ranking sites. But we are planning to get an Authority site with our service as main product. We are pushing some thread on the enlightenment section on how and what to put in. But we are getting stuck at the start. Keyword researching

Ive been spending the whole day trying to find some keywords for my niche. But damn, I only found 2 decent keywords I can use with atleast 1k monthly traffic with decent amount of competition -.-

The niche is narrow too. I had 7k results but only a few are spitting out more than 1k monthly search result with decent competition

Already used this guys and spent like 2-3 hours watching youtube how to use them properly and I literally got 2 keywords with (3 words each) talking about 4-5 words :(

Can you give me a simple hint on how you do it bros?

I am not expert. I am barely making a profit myself. Sometimes I think it is more luck than anything else, but I know a topic can be too narrow or too broad as a niche.

Not every page on your blog even in your niche has to focus on any certain keyword. You should be able to write about several problems(concerns) people may have withing that area.

See how many of these sub-topics you can come up with. If you can't come up with anything you may need to broaden the topic out some.

Yep yep we got those as the top 10 Articles around 3-5k words each - Solves Problems within the niche.

The keywords will be the 11th above articles. Used for updates to target low hanging keywords so we can conquer the niche one step at a time. A good plan but in this 2nd day of keyword researching its getting harder and harder to get those keywords in place. I now have 12 keywords after 2 days.. I think i need to dig in deeper. any other help would be apprecaited

Bro, 12 keywords in 2 days?

You can easily get shitton from keyword shitter.

A tool I would recommend would be Free keyword suggestion tool (TF if you are looking for auto complete for different region. If US, I don't think it would make much difference.

What I do is I get a broad niche keyword, plug that bad boy into keywordshitter. Get shitton of keywords. I export them to excel for cleanup. Like removing keywords which diverge too much from the main seed keyword. I plug that list into google adwords to get search volume. sort them through volume. Export it to excel again. Re arrange for grouping

That what I do. I'm no goo roo btw.

Regarding competition, I really hope you aren't referring to the Keyword competition metric provided by Google Keyword Planner tool but instead the top SERPs. Because the URL in the SERP matter.

May I know what keyword you used for your niche? Maybe you can try gathering synonyms to your keywords that are leading to the same category. Example: if your keyword of choice is survival techniques, then you can go for synonyms such as preparedness guide, emergency preparedness, outdoor survival.. etc and see which one yields greater hits with less competition.

I tried Keyword Canine before and so far it is a good tool. Ubersuggest is my favorite too.

Just try to mention what is your niche and keyword of choice so we can perhaps find a way to help you here.

Regards

You should learn more how to search keyword and how to use these keyword for SEO purposes. If you have good keyword then you can rank your site in Google good.

I think keyword search is very important to get high ranked in Google. If your keyword will be good and healthy then it helps you get more traffic to your site.

I used Google Keyword tool before, but eventually I find that it is best to just go on google, try out different keywords and see what comes up. I also like thinking as a user. Maybe try the high ranking keywords and use them on the search bar and see what comes up. Also check for the competitor's keywords. I hope this helps!

As Far As I Concerned, The Best Keyword Researching Tool is Google Keyword Planner. You have to Select Long-tail Keywords First in order to rank well in Google because Long-Tail Keywords generally have less Competition. You have to Follow Google Guidelines while doing SEO(White-Hat SEO Techniques) in order to achieve the Stability in your rankings in the Search Engine Results Page of the Google.

Google Keyword planner is best tool choice right keywords. Keyword research is the core SEO task that involves identifying the popular words and phrases people enter into search engines make in an attempt to figure out what to rank for.

keyword-type

Keyword act as a compass for your SEO campaign that's why we all need to do keyword research and analysis for our niche based site.

No offense, but it looks like the people posting replies don't know much more than the op...

Keyword research gives valuable insight into the queries that your target audience is searching on Google. There are some ways, you will be able to establish and execute a strong keyword strategy.

  • Make a list of important, related topics based on what you know about your business.
  • Fill in those topic buckets with keywords
  • Understand how intent affects keyword research and analyze accordingly.
  • Research-related search terms.
  • Use keyword research tools to your advantage.

It seems to me like you are being too harsh with your keyword research as it's really strange that you managed to collect only 2 keywords until now. I understand you want to pay attention to their quality and relevance, and that's great, but for the beginning, you can start with broader list and see what brings you better results. In fact, this will probably be the best way for you to find the most adequate phrases, you won't lose that much so don't be afraid of some experimenting.
