Basically I am constantly getting the following error:

032512-17940-01.dmp 3/25/2012 9:32:45 PM KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR 0x0000007a fffff6fc`80603b48 ffffffff`c0000185 00000000`25748880 fffff900`c07696d0 ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+705c0 NT Kernel & System Microsoft® Windows® Operating System Microsoft Corporation 6.1.7600.16841 (win7_gdr.110622-1503) x64 ntoskrnl.exe+705c0 C:\Windows\Minidump\032512-17940-01.dmp 2 15 7600 291,904

It seems to happen randomly and then it will happen in quick succession 2-3 more times before the laptop will be stable anywhere from 2 hours to 72 hrs.

I've tried running CHKDSK /R and the problem still persists. Any suggestions?

Whoever finds me a working solution (that doesn't include buying a new computer or complete reinstall) will get $100 worth of free links.

inb4 'just use mac'.

I had a similar problem a few months ago where I kept getting random BSOD and it turned out to be 1 bad stick of ram. You should take all your ram out and put them in 1 by 1 until you find which stick is bad. (That's if it is the ram) It's worth a try

I am not 100%, but this could be either a Malware or Hardware issue!

- Try resetting all connections and cables connecting to the disk subsystem of the system

Remove your RAM sticks, utilize a white eraser, rub the sticks and reinstall them. See if it works.

Edit -
P.S - Saw your post on techguy - doesn't look like a malware and your memory dumps appear fine as well.

I gotta add that just because your ram passes stress tests doesn't mean its not bad because my bad ram passed the tests. I had to physically take all the sticks out and split test each 1 to see which 1 was bad.
