i searched for hosting, and stummbled upon this one after it got great reviews on one of the hosting sites.

the problem is the offer sounds too good to be true, 3.95 dollars a month, free domain for life, money back guarntee any time and unlimited space.
what the heck? is it legit? anybody knows them?

JustDon't. You only get about $0.04 worth of support a year, and if their server takes a shit they don't keep backups.

Also its $3.95 a month if you buy 3 years in advance.
 
justhost is alright i mean if you keep your own back ups and download them to your hard drive. They have down time maybe once every couple of months. If you need mild customer support issues it is alright but if there is something major you need help with ....fuck it your screwed..
but overall it is bearable if you can do most of the things on your own. Its like $23 for 6 months if you look around for coupons i think.

I just wanted to step in and say JustHost is a very reputable company. I have worked directly with them before. They have good hardware , and dont experience downtime very often. There are a lot of hosts out there though so shop around, and find something that fits your needs best.
 
I would never get my domain thru the same provider as the hosting, I always keep my domain separate from my hosting.

While spending 6 to 9 a year for the domain alone may not seem as attractive as 'free for life' on a 3.95/month hosting package, it'll be a lot easier to move your domain to another host if the current hosting provider turns out to be a major fuck up.

Make sure you read the TOS in detail, some of the ones that provide you with the domain as part of the hosting are non-transferable, and as such can't leave the hosting.

3.95 dollars a month for monthly payment plan or half-a-year payment plan ,annually payment plan etc.It is not a low price ,since lots of hosting have lower price than this .
Free domain for life ,that means free domain for hosting's life .
Unlimited space nearly impossible.Some hidden limites in it.
