Has anyone had any problems when updating there WP blog lately? I went to a older blog of mine and saw the usual new WP update available on top and clicked as usual to auto update. I noticed that it now does not show the whole left side were all the backend WP navigation options are. The text on the bottom of backend is messed up one on top of the other but the actual web site that visitors see is normal. The version I see is WP 3.2 and I am using a bought template called socrates never had this happen with other updates.

Wordpress updating issues may be may be a plugin included with the theme, or code in the theme's functions.php that is incompatible with 3.2. You could try renaming the plugins folder to something else, or try renaming the theme's functions.php to something else and seeing if the page works on reload.
If that doesn't work you may have to upload the core files via FTP manually, if you do that be sure to backup anything important first.

Wow I never had this happen with socrates theme before the updates always worked ok. Will see if I can contact socrates admin in there forum so I do not have mess with any code.

Just to update I found out by moving over to temp new plugin folder from cpanel file manager all plugins then I moved them back to original plugin folder. This made them all deactivated then I activated all one by one until I quickly saw that it was one plugin causing the problem digi list builder. So I guess I will not use anymore never had problem with it paid cheap for it but will look for another list builder plugin.
