Just Got Back from seeing Pan's Labarynth

What I didn't know when I walked into the movie was it is all in Spanish and uses subtitles. I also didn't know it was going to contain some pretty raw violence (though limited).
Getting beyond that it was an amazing moving loaded with symbolism that leaves you walking away thinking deeply. I like movies that make you think.
It is set in Spain in 1944 and revolves around a young girl coping with war in a small town, and the fantasies she creates to cope.

Damn, I heard it was good. If is worth $9 though? The movies I go to are expensive after 4pm. Damn Dallas!

I've been waiting for this one to come to my town, I think since it has been getting such rave reviews that they are expanding the showings gradually through January/February. Can't wait!
