They told him to pull that act. Then they called an audible around 70% of the way in when they realized it was backfiring and journalists were killing them on Twitter. Did you notice during the end of Joe's acting, he was actually snarling? He was gritting his teeth and looked rabid.

They wanted a smear dog to fling as much mud as possible on to Ryan, the MSNBC folks climaxed, but I think everyone else who isn't a far leftist was repulsed by the display.

Lol, I actually somewhat agree with hellblazer, I think they were using this debate as a test to see how much they could get away with and not look crazy. And to stop the momentum that the republicans had.

He went a little too crazy though. There were a few times where he sounded really powerful, but most of the time it was just too much. Ryan seemed much more cool, collected, and not annoying and partisan as he usually is.

It seems to have worked, but now the right is going to talk about how crazy he was until the next debate.

also, the medicare/ss part of the debate was nuts. They were both arguing, spinning the facts, and using so many different stats and numbers it was ridiculous.

I think he was laughing cause he couldnt believe the bullshit coming from paul ryans mouth. like cutting taxes by 20% and spending more on the military and magically having it be "Revenue neutral"

When did he say he was going to increase military spending? All I heard was he wasn't going to cut military spending like Obama wants.

Apparently, cutting 20% will be offset by taking away tax loopholes.

Romney said in the debate IIRC that he wanted a strong military and would build 10 extra subs per year(sorry cant remember too well) then went on about how obama was cutting the military. sounds to me he plans on expand the military. Then he said he'd close tax loopholes but no specifics on any loopholes... and even even said that the loopholes that would give the government more tax revenues would not be closed. so in summary increase the military(building more subs expanding the navy) cutting taxes by 20% with no specific loopholes makes me think romney is talking bullcrap.
