I've got some shit at clickbank I want to promote and I have a relevant domain with wordpress with seo plugins etc. In my mind this is what I want people to do who read my shit on something like ezinearticles:

1. read my ezinearticles shit and be like omfg i want to click this link to read more
2. read my wordpress shit and be like holy fuck i want to click this link to learn about wtfever shit i'm pushing
3. from the previous 2 articles/posts/whatever be excited about the product in front of their faces

Or is there more to it?

you should post boobs at the end of post; was unable to focus on anything else you posted.

I'm sorry, was there any text in that post?

j/k, yeah you have the right idea. Just make sure you have good copy and keep the reader interested in whatever you're saying. One tactic you might wanna use is "find out more in my blog" on the ezine article, as to leave the reader hanging. Then on the blog, have a little more info, and then the call-to-action to get the product. Ex: ezine article on a few dog training tips, point to blog with more dog training tips/tricks, then point to dog training manual filled with dog training tips, grooming tips, tricks, etc.

I would have to turn off images in my browser to read whatever it is you wrote up there.
I've tried several times, but I just cant seem to focus on the text.
All I can say is that if those pics were your product links, I would have clicked them.

At EzineArticles I now have 107 article views with 27 url clicks, right at 25%. I realize that I'd like to have this percentage as high as possible, and I've grouped my articles by the way they lead up to, and the contents of, the resource box so that I could test what would give the biggest click-thru rate. With that being said, is there a general upper bound to this? Like is it rare to get a click-thru rate over X%? Just wondering what to shoot for, thanks.

P.S. Never thought I'd see someone bitch about too many boobs :p

Promoting the articles would help. ;)

This is just a suggestion, spoonitnow, but I would consider the shortest distance between capturing the customer and making payment. What I mean is, don't make the potential customer jump through too many links to reach your payment page.

On the other hand, you have a good idea to use article marketing to reach more prospects. There are other places out there like ezine so hit them all with different articles. Just don't let that be the only thing you do for promotion.
