Is hosting with Yahoo stores worth the money?

Has anyone tried hosting their store with Yahoo stores? Was it worth the money? I read an article some time ago in Fortune or Entrepreneur or something about this teenager who made a fortune from it, but that was back when you didn't have to bid for placement in the shopping directory. I would like to hear from people who have experience with it. Oh, and one more thing. How do you take payments? Paypal, merchant account, other?

Low cost of entry but their cut adds up when you start to do significant volume. You need your merchant account or paypal account.

The other drawback is that the transaction process doesn't stay on your site. Cheaper to get started though

Well, most people have their site themselves and then the checkout/shopping cart sends you to yahoo. In that case you probably don't want them clicking on ads and would rather get the sale I would think.

Others use yahoo for their whole site, not really sure what you can do as far as outside advertising... trying to remember if I've ever seen a popup or other type of ad...
