Hello miggylocs,
I don't know 100% for sure if they're legit, but from the brief research I did, I'd cautiously say yes: It seems that they have a reputation, so if they're not legit, they'd possibly risk hurting their reputation.
Here's why:
1. I went to your link and saw that they have 118,783 FB likes. (Now, can some of these be fake/purchased likes? Sure. I only spent a few minutes on this, so I didn't check the authenticity of the likes. Feel free to investigate that further, but I'll just assume they're genuine. And besides, paid Likes don't indicate a fraud, anyway.)
2. As for the actual affiliate program, I would've liked to have seen them use one of the more well-known affiliate platforms, such as Clickbank, CJ, or the like. From the few minutes I spent digging, it seems that they may have their own in-house program. This is a bit of a concern, but considering the nature of their market, I could see why they'd have to go in-house: medial marijuana is a potentially controversial subject, so maybe the more established affiliate networks would avoid that market.
3. It looks like
Mal’s is their e-commerce/ shopping cart platform. It seems to be solid.
A key point to investigate would be to see if this is a 3rd-party affiliate platform. Even if it’s an in-house program, if they use a 3rd-party platform that pays affiliates independently, then you’re probably in good hands.
4. It looks like they have a
LinkedIn page with an address. This is good because usually, legitimate companies are willing to have their contact information publicly available.
So, all in all, it looks legit…so far. But…don’t take my word for it:
I’d encourage you to investigate further.
