Is DNForum.com worth paying for?

I've never bothered paying for it myself...generally use NamePros for a domain forum.

Yes. Yes. Yes. It is very well worth every penny. I have been an exclusive member there for like 3 years now before they made me a mod and I can tell you that the knowledge and the tools you get at DNf are pure gold.

Also, DNf is the place where the big investors hangout -- as it has LOT less noise and keeps those not serious out of the place.

a little off topic, but where should I go to unload about 900 .coms that I have no use for anymore?

DNForum.com, SitePoint, NamePros (remember, it's the noobie central so expect a LOT of lowball offers) and DigitalPoint (it's even worse but hey can't complaint).

If the 900 .com's are pretty junky (not worth renewing), you may drop them off on Ebay in one big lot... be sure and put the good ones at the top.

At the very least, at least it lets you buy and sell domains on there. So if your good, you'll make that money back

I have been a member of dnf for several years, but didn't really feel I got much more with the paid membership, unless it has changed alot for the free section?

I used to buy and sell domains there, but found I can make more selling to end users, which everyone knows that! :)

I will say that it is definitely worth paying for DNForum, I was skeptical at first and started with the $15 gold plan. But after not even a month i had upgraded to the Platinum account (which allows selling on the forums).

Even if it wasn't for that, the great people, the knowledge and the community is definitely worth the money spend!!

Hope to see you around there sometime ;)

well worth paying for the forum. One of the best forums to deal with domains stuff.

I definitely think that the forum is worth. I just bought the Gold membership & will upgrade soon.

It seems it has been hacked. Slightly embarassing for a forum of website experts but it happens. They have been targets before. It probably will be back in a day or two.
