Is Blackhat the only way to make big bucks promoting sexual herbal supplements?

I've been experiencing moderate success promoting herbal supplements, and not so moderate for the sexual health products. My analysis of the competition shows a few at the very top are into blackhat. I'm not against blackhat and I feel that every offer can be promoted differently, based on the product niche be it whitehat, grayhat, bluehat, blackhat.

Out of curiosity, is there anyone making big dough using whitehat to promote sexual health products?

This is not meant to be another stupid how much money are you making thread, rather I'm trying to break into the top 10 and need to know if donning a blackhat is the only way to do that.

A definite yes, since gaining links the natural way is pretty hard in this niche, I don't know any site ranking well that's whitehat for those products. PPC is a whole different story.

Yes but their TOS says they only allow it via search network, not content.

If you notice most of the BH crew have automated link systems that allow them to stream 000's of backlinks to their affiliate pages, combined with the fact they are using trusted domains within social networkign sites to do this doubles their effectivenes against anyone doing this WH which is why you will never compete with these guys when it comes to normal WH methods.

about the keywords: google is fine, you might have to ask for exceptions here and there for terms like "pills".

with yahoo and msn it much much harder, cause they are really tough on some topics as far as keywords, but if you can get in they convert much better.
