They are bad. Crappy-ads tolerant though, so, useful in particular areas. As a publisher, pretty low payouts except some particular keywords. They are particular in general. (!)

Adengage or Adbrite. Your choice for cheap useless traffic from China or India. I made money on Adengage ONCE when I did arbitrage to a MFA page.

Checked stats, 90% of traffic from China. After campaign died out, I lost interest. I mean, how long before Google figured out what was happening and smart-click me.

Mind, every once in awhile I am tempted to make a MFA page with keyword for "internet marketing books" and turn on the taps from Asia. Naaaahhh....

First of all, Phillip Kaplan, yea, the fucker from NYC (now Cali) who used to own FuckedCompany.com, started it.

Started out as marketbanker.com doing porno/viagra text ads.

I fucking hate that bitch, killed the one forum on the web that had true, unadulterated uncensored freedom.

Fuck him and the cunts at AdBrite.

Add Miva to the shitlist too. I gave it a test for the company I work for and 50% of our traffic came from one site. A fake searchengine with nothing but sponsored listings. I checked alexa and it had a rank of 3300 which I found odd considering how crap the site was. So I investigated further and the site gets it's traffic from adware/malware/spyware programs who hijack the users browser and give random popups and shit like that.

I am currently testing bidvertiser and the results do not look promising.

I use them (and their adult counterpart BlackLabelAds) as a publisher and have made a few thousand dollars over the last 3 years. Some advertisers keep advertising on my site, so it must be profitable for them.

I also tried them once as an advertiser, but I only lost money.

I find their inline ads are much better than kontera.

On high traffic sites adbrite is okay if you can sneak some extra banners in.
