Why sell it? That's an excellent domain ... suprisingly few results come up for inurl:documentary.com at Google. Why not develop it? Create a couple of videos and some text based around statistics on the current war in Iraq and the history that led up to it, then edit it down to two versions: one wildly Republican, and one wildly Democratic. Find some good, low-key CPA offers and frame them around the video; submit it to the right places and it will go viral pretty quickly. Don't hit the big sites -- find niche forums where it's all basically a vacuum for idiotic extremist political ideals (right or left, doesn't matter.)
Test each version of the video in this way -- without ads -- and make sure to have it removed from Google Wayback et al. between each test. Whichever market proves more "profitable" in terms of traffic, redo the site in that ideology's flavour, add advertisements and let it rip to all the major political circle-jerk forums and blogs that cater to that mindset. CafePress can be your friend if you feel like a little extra work; if it's really bringing down dollars hire an all-in-one publisher like Tandem Press to print you out a book of public domain stats on the war and sell it at the site ("10% will be donated to the Christian Coalition/Greenpeace/PNAC/theonlygoodmuslimsaredeadmuslims.org/etc." as per the market's preference.)
Seriously, a domain like that makes me think of the one productive and useful purpose politics serve in this world, which is to agitate idiots into a frothing frenzy which can be exploited for personal gain. Why would you get rid of that?
