I used to be a fan of mmorpgs, a lot of my youth was spent playing diablo 2 and WoW; and I’m sure more then a few of you can relate to this, whatever the game was.
Ever since I started Internet marketing it has fully replaced yet fulfilled all of the enjoyment I used to get from those games.
Instead of collecting x amount of arduously named animal skin to "level up" its a game of collecting links, personal achievements, rankings, higher EPC.
Every once and a while I’ll be doing something to do with a site and it’ll bring me the same feelings I came across while playing those games.

Logging onto an old /wp-admin site feels a lot like logging onto an old character you haven’t played in a while; looking at how you set up the plug-ins, decked out the layout, etc.
Outsourcing work to a virtual assistant feels like hiring a mercenary - instead of hooking the brother up with a sweet spear or pike, I’ll buy him rapebox, senuke, and if he’s ever ready lol xrumer
What other similarities have you guys noticed?
