Hi guys, I've been into affiliate marketing for a little over a year now and am still having troubles getting stable consistent campaigns. Right now I am trying to tackle PoF advertising and have noticed very low consistency. For example I will create a campaign and the first hour or 2 I get steady conversions and am at 100-200% ROI, depending on what I'm advertising. I run it the whole day and after that first little push I still get conversions, but by the end of the day I end up losing money overall. My leads aren't being scraped and my ad CTRs are .20%+, I just don't get it.
I keep an eye on ads that people are running, get ideas of how to target and write ad copies. I never copy other people's ads, just their approach to the ad and usually get good CTR percentages on my ad copies that convert for a little while. These people are obviously profiting, why else would they be able to run the same ads for weeks at a time? I have noticed this on a lot of different traffic sources, I base my ads/LPs off of other people thinking, hey this must work and nothing ever does.
Again, I've been in this for over a year now, have had some big days, had some big losses and I feel like I just keep getting dragged back to step 1. I know I'll get a lot of wise ass responses to this, but to those of you who can offer some kind of reasoning to this instability and/or advice to help I want to thank you in advance.
