Hey guys, I usually use .com's, but in an attempt to save a couple bucks I wen with the .info. What are your experiences are far as rankings go? Obviously I will lose type in traffic, but what about SERP rankings?

I know it has been discussed time and time again, but everyone tends to say different things.

The general consensus is .infos are harder to rank. I can't personally say cause I value my time higher than $7 so the only .info I purchased was for prosper.

Dude, spend the 7 bucks and get the .com. Infos are a pain in the ass. They're not impossible to rank, obviously, but yeah, they are tougher, IMO.

Would you buy anything from a .info?

They're only good for redirecting traffic to money site.
If you got an exact match .info, you can optimize that. Don't think there would be a difference in ranking with that extension.

Search for "black friday" on Google and see what I mean

Yeah I have an exact match 22k .info, the .com is open so I might as well grab that and redirect it as well, correct?
