improving page views

Argh... come on!
This used to be called the "stickiness" of a page.
Google it.
Link into your page. Link from article to article, give users the opportunity to browse.
Example:
"Related articles" links, "You might also be interested in..." links, etc..
Case in point:
I made a "best of 2005" post for one of my blogs early 2006. I put up a few stories from every month. Never had more pageviews.

There's alot of people just staying a few secs on the page. Looking at some stats for an old site of mine, out of 300 visits, 193 stay on the site 10 seconds or less! (ops thats bad)
