Hey,

So I'm finally getting around to learning imacros (been procrastinating for ages) and it's going well. I've read through the entire wiki section on their site and have a pretty good understanding of what can be done and how to do it, next step is to start making some practise macros. (Other than the absolute basic stuff I've used it for until now)

I've tried searching for imacro tutorials but their doesn't seem to be much out there other than what's on their site, anyone know of any good resources for this?

I'd prefer to have industry specific tutorials/examples/etc like for link dropping, account creation, etc but I realise that's maybe not very realistic and my searches didn't bring up much, so any good resources will help.

Cheers :)

I personally think that Imacro is very limited in what it can do .since it only works inside the browser. I would recommend that you take a look at AutoMate, its much easier to use and you can do so much more with it.

I thought about doing an iMacros blog but there aren't enough hours in the day for it.

I am taking ubotseth's ubot software for a test drive right now, and it has more potential. Of course, it is not free, but then very few tools that will make you monies online are.

An imacro blog written by an affiliate marketer would be fucking great!

BTW, do you use the scripting version guerilla or just the free plugin?

AutoIt is another "automate everything" scripting/api thingy that can be used to do everything.

If you like to automate a browser I would suggest you check out Selenium, which can also be controlled from a real programming language. Can be good when you don't want to reverse engineeer ajaxcalls to automate 100 actions/month.

I don't know IMacro's, but as I understand it, it is better to use when you want to add functionally to a page. I know some page somewhere got a dayparting for facebook for example as a download.
