side question to graphicans - whats best MAC program for enlarning pictures without loosing quality/pixels? on WIndows ive used PhotoZoom?

hope the message is not too chaotical

you can do automation within photoshop. google photoshop droplets. It allows you to record a set of actions and then create a file of the automation that you place in a folder. Then just drag a bunch of pics onto the droplet file and photoshop will run those actions on all the images.

what about software to enlarge pics withut quality loosing? i cant find other thign that photozoom but i msure mac must have something

You cannot enlarge raster images without losing quality, period. You can make them look ok up to a certain point though, and PS is decent enough at this.

If this were true, large format printing (ie. posters, billboards, etc.) would all look like shit. Genuine Fractals has been around since 1996 and in 2005 it was acquired and renamed Perfect Resize. Perfect Resize 7.5 - onOne Software

Like I said, you can enlarge but no matter what you do you will still lose quality on the original. Do you think if you looked at a billboard poster up close it would look crystal sharp? No, it looks good because you are seeing it from like 20ft away.
