First I would like to mention that by newbie I mean I don't even understand half the terminologies I read about and probably don't know about most traffic sources other than the obvious like adwords and facebook.

So here is where the help comes in; I am using google adwords to try and grow an understanding of AM and would like some general advice and/or guidelines to follow.

So far I have set a daily budget of $11 and have ran one ad and as I had expected it failed and am ready to move onto my next ad. I would like to reach a target of $285 profit within a month or two. Is my daily budget even large enough to try and gather information during the testing period.

Not really sure what kind of advice support I am looking for anything in the right direction would be great.

Thanks,

Dumass Fucktard (me)

The ad failed? In what way?

Personally, I suggest that you stop throwing your money away and start
studying SEO.

but that's just me

Adwords is the biggest money blackhole in this planet. Study SEO like Bompa said and it will save you sweaty bags of cash in the long run. The results will not be immediate, but good things will come to those who wait (not always though).

Hello Mr Dumbass Fucktard,

First of all, you need to have a question to ask and believe me you don't. Start with the TT and stop asking yourself stupid questions like 'why didn't my one ad campaign make me a millionaire?.

The ad wasn't a complete failure I learned some valuable lessons like how certain keywords will just bleed you dry. but once i had a decent amount of keywords that was producing some conversions the ad just didn't have a large enough payout to breakeven. bogdan I guess I wasn't asking a question specifically but hows is this what are people's thoughts on adwords is this a good place to try and build a base or should i be looking somewhere else.

thanks

If you think about their setup... to advertise on adwords means your business model must be THE best/most cut-throat one out there.

Of which yours (a self described noob) probably was not.

I agree with Bompa. Study up and learn the factors that rank websites in the search engine result pages. It will pay off in spades.
