I have a client looking to unload 50 high end specialty vehicles. They want to do a huge lead generation campaign to sell these vehicles. U.S. traffic and leads only. The vehicles can be shipped.

The CPA the client is aiming at is around $35 and we need to generate 200+ leads over the course of 1 month.

Search engine marketing is the obvious first step but what other crafty ideas do you guys have that can be used to generate leads for 1 particular model of hard to get vehicle.

Thanks as always

^^^^^ What he said.

You want leads for "high end specialty vehicles" that convert rapidly and massively (25% of gross leads turn into buyers in the now) for $35 each? I imagine that if such leads actually exist in the first place, any number of exotic dealers would pay a grand each for them, half that at a minimum.

they are high end specialty but not ridiculously high end.

Its like a $30,000 domestically made vehicle

200+ leads = 50 sales?

200+ leads is a start and then i guess they can judge close rate off of that. For 200 leads they would have to close about 5 to make money. Remember margins on cars are really not that high. People want to buy their cars for invoice.

Do they have a landing page or mini site already created? If yes, then run a small, highly targeted test on the the big 3 search engines right away. This will give you a quick read on the demand.

I'm also assuming this has to be geo-targeted if it's coming from a dealership in a particular town, so remember to geo target.

yea they have a mini site, geo targeting doesnt matter much as long as its U.S as they ship the cars. Usually hard to get cars people don't mind having shipped (if they trust the dealer of course)

Well, that makes a bit more sense then ... I hear "high end specialty" and I think "Hummer stretch limo conversion" or something else along those lines.
