A few months ago, I saw a typing tutor that used open-source code as sample text. It might be worth searching for if you're serious about improving your touch typing skill when programming.

Coding and typing text are two entirely different games. Coders don't "type" - they "write" in their own way. So I'm not surprised. I don't recollect seeing any exception to this rule in my entire life, and I've seen a few thousand coders in my life including myself.
