I think i screwed up

Ok so i have gotten confused about all this domain / hosting shit. I remember when I used to have a domain I got it all from one site there was no getting a domain name with disk space on it and then registering with a host so the site is actually on the internet.

Anyways so I signed up for the zen-lite on zensix.com and I thought that package included the hosting and everything with the domain but I guess not since its been 3 days now and my website still isnt online. So I bought the 1-1-1 plan on hostica and accidently chose to transfer domain and it shows the domain I signed up for on zensix (the options confused me, i think I needed to choose register domain?) So now on my zensix I have my website registered and my hostica it shows the same domain as I signed up with teh same name thinking it would register my zensix domain and make it appear online. How do I go about fixing this, will my hostica end up putting my site online once it goes through propogation or what?
 


Where did you buy the domain from?

Zensix is just for hosting your site, we don't register your domain, you do that elsewhere (godaddy, namecheap, etc). After you register your domain with a registrar you need to change the nameservers (at your registrar) to:

ns1.zensix.com
ns2.zensix.com

Once the nameservers are updated at your registrar your domain will point to your hosting account on zensix. (What's your domain?)

Hey Man, I'm pretty sure I know who you are (since we only had one person sign up for the zen-lite package this week.)

I looked at the domain you entered when you signed up and you haven't even registered it. You need to go to a site like GoDaddy.com and register the domain and then point the nameservers to zensix.
 
maybe i messed up, i signed up on zensix thought it registered the domain and everything, so i signed up on hostica and chose transfer domain which now I don't know why I did so now i got my domain in 2 places. I went to godaddy and registered my domain but pointed the nameserver to ns1.zensix.com and ns2.zensix.com and now when I go to my domain it goes to ZenSix Hosting the main zensix page. Is it just a matter of time before i will actually see my page and it will go to my actual domain?

Well i already paid money for Zensix, Godaddy and Hostica. Ive decided to use zensix for hosting and im wondering why the hell it keeps on redirecting my page to ZenSix Hosting ive done everything ive been told. Registered my domain pointing it to ns1.zensix.com and ns2.zensix.com. What more do I need to do?
 
Put up an index file.

Its working if you purchased the domain at GoDaddy and have it pointed to ZenSix (which is apparant because of the redirect)

You need to put an index file in the root directory

JMusto0223, the problem is you installed wordpress before having a domain and it used the server's IP as it's URL in the settings. You need to log in to wordpress and change the IP to your domain.

The site will work fine after that as can be seen by this test file I uploaded: http://kitchen-art-showroom.com/test.html

p.s. - In the future you'll get a much faster response if you submit a support ticket.
