Okay, a made a thread a while ago about losing my job blah blah blah. Well I have a bit of an update. I can't collect unemployment for some reason so I have no income coming in. For a second I was down and out and a little bummed out because there was no money coming in. Well I took some of the information that I got from some people in that thread and decided to use the skills I already have. Well, it's paying off more than I would have imagined.

I know how to repair credit and I have done it for myself and for a few people like I stated in the other thread. I also said that I hooked up with a reputable car dealership but it was put on hold because on the newly created business cards the car dealership name was included which is a big legal no no since I am not an actual affiliate of the publicly traded company. Well, I fixed the problem and we got back in business and man, oh man. I had to recalibrate some things, one being my profit margin. I sat back and made sure to jot down all my expenses, overhead etc. I pretty much have it all figured out and it has already started paying off.

My overall cost per person is about $78 and I charge about $400 and I have a guranteed 90 day turnaround or a full refund. So a profit of $322 per person is pretty awesome. Four people per week nets me a profit of $1288. Worst case scenario I have only 2 clients per week thats still a profit of $644 which isnt bad. Anyway, it's lookin good so far, I raised enough money to feel good about myself again lol. The money is held in my savings account for the 90 day period incase I have to refund but I still charge a $100 service fee. So whatever money isn't spend on fighting the case will be refunded less of course my service fee.

***Might sound like im jumpin from topic to topic but I am registering two domains as we speak and I have a question, should I get private registration for $10 extra a year? Im registering thru GoDaddy. Thanks for any tips on that.***

Back to the topic, this is going pretty good to where I think it will be able to pay for my IM/AM investments.

Cool story bro, you'll be all right as long as you take the cash up front.

thx update bro

No Prob

Yeah cash is taken up front. The car dealership is checking for the payment before even giving them my card. I should have mentioned that the dealership sells 400 cars a month. I was there the other day and 5 people in an hour could have used my help. At that point I wasnt ready to present anything to anyone. Im excited about it.

Holy shit lol, my order was finalized at 1:44 am the same time as your post. $20 spent when I could have only spent $10. Thanks for the info, it will come in very handy in the near future.

Edit: I only registered one domain and I will register the other one soon. I am pretty sure it will get ranked pretty high in Google. I am gonna make wordpress site that people can get free tips and coaching and I might even send out a monthly mailer. What to do with the email addresses, hmmmm.... :)

This thread is teh real-time, google wave where are u when we need uze?

Is it true repairing credit is just a matter of writing letters ?

Yes and no, it gets a bit complicated. I have some people come to me and tell me they figured it out and end up completely screwing themselves over. Letters are involved but its alot more than that.

Time to scale it out bro. Hook up other dealerships.

Yeah, I was thinkin about that from the start. I didnt have to sell this dealership on the idea because I used to work there and we have a personal relationship, but when I showed him exactly what I can do for them he wanted me to promise he would be the only dealership in town. I am going to let it go on for about two months, see what the money is realistically looking like, and then move to other places if necessary.

It sounds risky legally. "Repairing" credit is an industry with a bad reputation ( IMO deservedly so) and a lot of scam artists. I guess I'm just saying make sure everything is on the up and up and not shady- no bullshit promises, performing unlicensed services, etc. Don't run afoul of the AG, and so on.

And to the person who asked about "writing letters"- frankly anyone with an IQ of around 70 who can read and use online forums can do all the "credit repair" in the world for himself. However you could say that for a lot of things. Personally I wouldn't trust anyone else to mess with my credit.

you sound like you got scammed in the past

Thats what I was thinking.

While I agree that it is possible to do it yourself and that is anyones right but I have found that alot of people make things worse when they don't understand exactly what they are doing.

My old boss tried doing it himself and screwed up then ended up paying $10k to a lawyer to undo his own damage. I have been doing it for a while and can only speak for myself when I say that I don't have the heart to be personally responsible for someones credit and not do what I promised. There was one time that I wasn't able to help someone and I said I would guarantee the work or he would get 100% of his money back. I charged $200 back then and ended up refunding him as promised even though my expenses totaled about $110. So I ate the money spent just to keep my word. The dealership knows that I am that type of person and thats why we teamed up.

You may want to reconsider after seeing what this guy does for a living.

You can still get a refund from GoDaddy if you just call them up! I did this myself when I found out about Namecheap...I think it has to be within 3 days though, but you should be fine since you bought it today.
