Bros, hear me out,

I know this is fucking sad, but like I said, I'm retarded.

Anyways,

I'm trying to install tracking (more specifically lambdatracker) cause I want to been had money like dullspace f5ing like it ain't a thing. Anyways, I'm unsure as to where to place all the tracking codes. I know sad eh? But I am showing some improvement as I actually installed lambdatracker on my host perfectly on my first try:food-smiley-010:

1) "Javascript tracking code" - it looks like this

Code:
<script src="http://mysite.info/static/marketing/track.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

this I assume is like google analytics and tracks visitors to my LPs and possible CTRs. I assume I put this above the </body> just like in the gurgle ANALytics, amrite or wrong?

~
~

After that I have two more tracking urls:

The "global tracking pixel code" which looks like this:

<img height="1" width="1" border="0" style="display: none;" src="http://mysite.info/static/marketing/pix.php"/>

And the "tracking script" which is simply a url, looks like this:

One of these two I assume is the callback/pixel url I place on the offer on my CPAnetwork to fire the pixel. But I am unsure which one it is? And as for the other one, I have no idea as to what to do with it.

Also, anyone using lambdatracker itself. Can anyone tell me what I need to create a cronjob for? I'm guessing the "main plugin", "facebook" and "marketing", anything else? Also, how often should I set the cron job? 20 minutes? an hour? I dunno.

Anyhelp is really appreciated. And here are the boobs for teh help.

i tried using lambda tracker and stopped because I couldn't figure out errors with downloading my facebook account data, but if you can end up figuring it all out let us know and I'll retry. so I can't really help you, but good choice on the pix.

Sorry I missed your PM, I wanted to post my response in case it helps anyone else. I know there are a lot of things that aren't clear, I'll try to make it better.

1) LambdaTracker has its own "cron" script called crontab.php. This is a handler that you set to run and it in turn runs all the jobs you set in LT. By default one of the jobs should be the Facebook plugin job to upload ads.

What you need to do when you install LT is set a cron job on your host to run the following script about every 10 minutes:
http://www.yourtracking.com/static/marketing/crontab.php

That will take care of the uploading of ads to Facebook.

2) The javascript tracking code goes in the <head> section of your landing page. You have the option of using javascript OR redirects for tracking clicks to the landing page. If you use javascript, LambdaTracker adds a hash and the ad id to the end of the URL like so:

http://www.yourlp.com/yourpage.html#1234

Then the id is stripped off so the user doesnt see it once the page is loaded. You don't have to worry about adding the hash and id, LambdaTracker takes care of it.

So basically you just put the javascript include in the head, set the tracking type to javascript when you create the ad, and you are good to go for LP tracking.

The tracking pixel is for conversion tracking, you give the pixel to your network to add (or add it yourself if they're using hitpath). I recommend using the secure pixel if you have a secure server.

3) The SubId section should be under the 'Marketing' plugin (unless you changed the menu around). This is an alternative to using a tracking pixel. Basically when you create an offer you insert the <%unique%> where you want to pass the unique subid. For example: http://www.networksoffer.com/offer1.php?subid=<%unique%>

LambdaTracker generates a URL for you to use on your lander for each offer. That then redirects the user to the offer. Then when they click on it they're redirected to the offer with the unique id.

For example you use this link on your lander:
http://trackingdomain.com/static/marketing/tracker.php?o=19

Where the offer id is 19.

Which will automatically redirect them to:
networkoffer.com: The Leading Networking Site on the Net

Where the unique SubId is 1234.

Then once you've made some conversions, log into your ad network and copy all the converted SubIds, then paste them into that textbox under SubIds, very similar to p202.

4) The 'Fetch Info' button was my idea as a way of comparing the number of clicks you track with the number of clicks Facebook is reporting (to detect click fraud, for example). It is not 100% necessary and you don't need to do it to see clicks/conversions.

Hope this helps, good luck with your campaigns.

dont knoe tracking sorry cant help you... but thanks for the ass and titties
