I need a new phone. verizon. suggestions please

my phone is absolutely horrible, ive had it for like 2 years, i don't get reception etc. It seems like everytime I get a new phone, a new one comes out a month later. but back to the point. what are some recommendations for verizon phones? i do texting. i dont really like touchscreen texting. i need one that had REALLY good reception. hows the enV 2? Some people recommend to not sign the 2 year contract to get contract price and 50 dollars off, they say to just pay full price so you won't be on a leash. opinions?

Envy 2 is a good phone if you don't want the Blackberry OS. If not, go with what Rudedog suggested, or the 8300 series.

Go with the env2, or Voyager. I have the Glyde and I wish I would've gotten the env2.
