Ok guys I feel the need to tell everyone about a horrible experience I had in my room at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami! I was sound a sleep when I was wakened at 2:30am to a loud rustling sound in the curtains. I kept hearing it for the next 20 minutes. I didn't want to get up and look because I'm a girl and was honestly too freaked out! I turned on the light and saw some sort of black creature peak out of the curtains and then scurry back in. Immediately, I called the front desk and had them send someone up to check things out. Right when I hung up the phone the creature ran behind the T.V. and behind the mini bar. This damn thing was sooooo fast I couldn't tell what it was! All I know is that it was black and probably 10" long. I know what some of you are thinking, Oh it was just a lizard! Hell no...that thing was a whole lot bigger than a lizard and it scared the shit out of me. I mean who would of thought that in a 5 star hotel I would have to change rooms at 3am because I was under attack from an unknown creature???
Anyhow, the hotel gave me access to the Club level for all my troubles and I came back after the Summit one day to chocolate covered strawberries! Comp my room? Nothing of the sorts. Maybe they should have, not knowing I am a member on Wicked Fire!!! If I was them I would have given me a free room for the entire next year. It's just plain gross!
