HP Touchpad Available Online Still



A lot of people went crazy for this deal. I don't blame them since it is made by HP and its discounted 75% off. But the drawback is that this model and WebOS is discontinued.
 
B&N is fucking up. They are out of stock, but still allowing orders. People are getting cancellation emails a few hours after ordering. Don't waste your time.

p.s. - The Touchpad is a piece of shit.
 
Good looking out but I wouldn't order this if it was Free.

I've got an Android tablet I just bought 1 month ago that I don't even touch anymore.

Even iPad is all hype.

Sales have finally boomed for the Touchpad. Maybe they should rethink the product cancellation, and just sell them for $99. HP would own the market. If I were running HP that's what I'd do, as long as turning a profit is still possible.

I've been following the craziness this weekend. Here are a few things worth mentioning:

-They supposedly cost $328 to manufacture. HP selling them for $99/$149 is not a viable strategy.
-WebOS is not being discontinued. They are just not making any more hardware tablets.
-Even though HP is not discontinuing WebOS, that's not to say I will not be the first to hop over to an Android port as soon as it's released.

All that being said, I bought a 32gb one. I own a personal desktop now, and have a work laptop, macbook pro and iPad w/ 3G connection. Unfortunately, I can't do much real work on the work machines because I need to make sure I keep my personal work and my 9-5 work fairly separate. Hoping the HP tablet will allow me to get some smaller stuff done on the road.
 
Anyone know of anywhere else they are still available? It looks like everyones pretty much outa stock
 
I might have an extra 32gb one if anyone is interested. I was originally listed as back ordered on Best Buy but just got a shipping confirmation after I ordered another one. If you're interested, PM me and I'll keep you updated if I have 2.

I ended up ordering a ton of the 32gig to use as contest giveaways. I know that's probably not most of your thing but if you're interested check my sig. in a couple weeks I will be giving some away.
