So I've been thinking about this idea quite frequently as of late but I'm not sure on how I can make money with it.

I have seen one or two main people who are blogging their weight loss.

They have websites/blogs and youtube channels.

My question is what money could you get?

All I know is that you can get money from Adsense, Youtube ads and the possibility of deals with companies if you had a large following.

Is there any other sources of income apart from the ones I listed?

I appreciate any replies as I want to do my weight loss journey blog and hopefully lose pounds while my wallet gains them

They are making money via affiliate links most likely and not 'deals with companies with a large following'

Oh I see so I could go on clickbank and look for a weight loss guide, use it myself and show off my results for viewers to buy?

Is that all?

Thanks for the reply :)

I wasn't trying to sound ungrateful/greedy... Just wondering :)

No you're fine I was just saying that ... yes that is the underlying idea behind it.... but the actual execution is a whole lot harder.

True that! I think it's going to be really hard but at least I have some direction as opposed to information overload... I finally have something to work towards... Thanks Hav3n!

Create some sort of plan, but don't overthink the project. Practise will take you further than reading.

Know your niche (products, competition, topics, problems, audience etc)

There are more options than a ClickBank so make you research.

hat money you can get? Sky's the limit. It depends on your traffic, sales copy efficiency (read Ca$hvertising and more), products' quality, your expertise and more more more...

I've seen plenty of blogs of people who write some kind of 'weight loss journal'. Not sure how good it is and if it will work for you. Maybe try different approach?

Another Londoner!

The clickbank thing just came to me today and I've seen quite a few blogs about people's journeys but thought I could be more like a hamster and test different methods for others to try out and make millions on Youtube.

And Ca$hvertising seems pretty good with some high reviews!

^Good idea.. I'm on one now and have shared my troubles with others... Maybe I can do a bit more though.

most of the videos you are seeing are people pushing p90x and other beachbody workouts/products .... beachbody is a multi-level marketing company much like avon except they sell fitness products and not makeup.

Make sure you write a blog about all the supplements/exercise equipment you use along the way, with a handy Amazon affiliate link pointing them to where they can buy said supplements/equipment. I'm sure this is pretty basic but hey.

I think your main problem will be getting a following, since there are tons of weight loss blogs out there. Why should I choose yours? You should try to appeal to some sort of niche. "How I went from WoW nerd to fit" - would appeal to the gamer crowd. etc...

I was thinking Ultimate weight loss as alot of the UFC fans I see seem to be fat guys... I'll be their Hulk Hogan figure :)

I wanted to become healthy and strong but it seems I have to market to people who just want to look good... I'll do it I guess.
