How well does Adwords filter businesses running 2 campaigns in 2 seperate accounts?

I'm curious if anyone has had experience with running 2 campaigns for the same advertiser in 2 separate accounts using Adwords? This obviously has a benefit for the advertiser, but how well does it work?

It depends. If Google finds out it doesn't work well at all, as they will merge your accounts if they are feeling nice and ban them if they are not.

If they don't find out, then I guess it could work out just fine.

In my experience, if you are running a lead offer for the same merchant on 2 different accounts, but the same keywords, you are going to get a lot of duplicate leads, costing you even more money.
