How to start affiliate markting? to much information to much scam

Hello all
i like to learn how to operate in the affiliates world .
but the problem is that there are to much scam and to much information over load. even if i do search in this forum which i love very much there are allot of links .
i want to start with trail and error but where to start ? what is reliable source of knowledge ?
i know it will take time and persistence and im ready for it .
my background is software development if it helps .

You're already in the middle of it!

Like an thing in the world, if you want to learn, you have to break it to pieces.

First set a timetable, and start with the very basics, and gradually take off to advanced information.

You need to know what exactly you want to learn and then decide how you plan to learn it.

Step by step, smaller to bigger, that's how learning is done.
 
Thanks for the replay , well i sure know and agree to what you mean .
but I meant to get tutorials and i mean the "real" ones not the scam ones
from the experience of the professionals
 
Hi, maybe you can register some affiliate platform like CJ, Avangate. The send real and useful tips/tutorials to their memebers.
