How to recruit publishers?



Basically what I want is to attract more publishers to our affiliate program fr our online games store.
We will list our program in affiliate directories and contact some publishers directly, but we cannot contact all. What else we can do?
Ypu as a blogger, how do you look for merchants?
 
So to put it simple you're looking for more affiliates. Put up a very detailed affiliate section on your site with resources (banners, keywords, etc.) and start to promote in relevant forums, communities (Fb, Tw, etc) contact prominent bloggers directly, etc. So get the word out there!
 
Talk to ShareaSale, they have a variety of programs to help with recruitment like category sponsorship, spots about you in email newsletters, etc etc. Just ask them and they'll help you.
