How to put link directory in a blog?

hi everyone!

aside from bloglinker and blogroll, can you share how you accumulate reciprocal links and how to display it on a blog like the traditional link directory? particularly for blogger and wordpress blogs? i can't stress enough the importance of link popularity seo-wise. your input well be greatly appreciated.

I use ReceiveLinks to try to get my link out there. It seems like a great system and I've gotten like 45 links back already.

They require you put a code on your site. I put the code in my WordPress theme footer.php file and it worked fine. If you sign up under my referral link above I could help you get their code installed on your blog
