I'm trying to register a keyword rich domain, actually a couple of domains.
Every two-word .com domain is taken. So I'm having to add prefixes and suffixes to my domains.
e.g. TangoDancingOnline.com, MyTangoDancing.com iTangoDancing.com etc
these obviously work around the keyword criteria for SEO purposes, but are really SHIT for branding. They're too wordy, and can be easily forgotton.
I'm trying to get a domain similar to http://superstrength.com/ it's all owned by the same company it seems, nothing on there expect for 1 page affilate/adwords page.
Now I know that google is very well aware of these, and there's no way it's going to give these pages any love. No matter how much SEO you do on it.
However I really want these domains for my blogs, were I plan to put on good quality content for long term projects, do these squatters plan on making money by selling these domains? How is the best way to go about purchasig them?
I've just sent out emails from the whois page wanting to buy domains, but kept the email very brief, I didn't give an offer, obviously because I dont want to make the offer too big and then buy it feeling like I've made a crap decision.
