^^I watched this documentary on HBO the other night. Can't believe I was able to sit through it (very depressing) but I'm glad I did. It basically follows a few people around who are living their final months leading up to a doctor assisted suicide.
While most of it was centered around people who wanted to go, there was a disturbing story about a man who wanted to fight his disease, but his insurance company would only pay to have him killed...at roughly the same price it would cost for potential life-saving treatment.
The documentary is definitely worth the watch if you have the stomach for it.
