How many licenses do you think vBulletin sells on a average day?

My guess is 30.

Curious as to what others guesses are?

More than that for sure ... "Powered by vBulletin" - Google Search

Says there 5,500,000, they're been on since like 2000 ? that's 8 years ....

8 * 365 = 2 920 ( days in 8 years )

5,500,000 / 2 920 = 1 883.56 ( average sales / day )

So about 1884 licenses / day ?

Can't put my hand on fire for that tho ... but 100% sure it's more than 30 / day :)

The total number of matches that Google reports is not accurate at all. It also will include multiple pages on the same Vbulletin forum installation.
 
they have like 160K members on their forum, so maybe a % of that own at least 1 license...i'm thinking that is a better estimate.

wonder how much they sold to internet brands for....
 
Are we talking about new customers or people renewing their licenses?

New sales - around 30 - 50. (at a push).
Renewals - Who knows. probably about the same.
