How Frequently Does Quality Score Update In Adwords

For the sake of this question lets use the following scenario:

Once you start a campaign with adwords and get your quality scores for each keyword, and say your quality score is 'OK' for all your keywords.

You want your QS to be 'Great' at least for your most important keywords, so you then go in and tweak the page to be more relevant

My questions is how frequently does the google bot crawl your page to determine if your quality score has increased, and how frequently does it update within your adwords control panel?

The quality score bot comes around every 7-14 days according to the google help page but I've found this varies wildly. It's pretty easy to check your logs as the quality score bot identifies itself nicely....I could look that user agent string up for you but it should be easy to find and i'm feeling lazy right now
