I had an ad that was running in both search and content network and a bunch of my keywords were inactive due to low quality score. I deactivated the search network and suddenly all my keywords became active. I noticed that the Quality Score column doesn't show up in if you select your ad to run in content network only, is it a total non-factor for the content network?
I can see how price bidding, quality score and all that Jazz figures into search-based keyword targeting, but how does it work for the content network?
Suppose one of my keywords is "vegas vacation", and somewhere someone in the Google network (lets say Gmail) opens up an email from his friend saying that he's going on a vegas vacation, then Google pulls up my ad and displays it beside his email - is that how it works?
