How Do You test your campaings?

I have had tons of success as an affiliate but one thing that bothers me is how other people test, is there a specific way on testing? I test every single thing and luckily i get one or more profitable working, is it the same with you or different?

Like actually making money, don't want to get into it in detail i just want to know how others affiliates test there ad.

i don't think that's a dumb question, so i'll answer to this question..

i get confused by this question pretty often...

i feel like, whenever im about to ditch an offer and move on. I feel like.. something is missing? i feel like, i could make it better and make it work for me if i try some other angles and etc.

I'm trying to get down a "campaign system" to make it more stable and what not..

but this is what's keep haunting me..

Every once in a while I'll try something and I'm never comfortable enough to get my CPC down. I wish I had disposable income.

setup ads on traffic source and set a test budget..... wait till its depleted and then decide to continue the campaign or not.
